John
It was a wonderful old hotel nestled in a traditional building. the breakfast was delicious and the food was outstanding. - the property had a very central location right on the beach. - Besides, we were just next door to Newport, and the main tourist area where all the hustle & bustle is.

I had a neat and updated room with a great mattress and a variety of B&Bs, as example and everything was good. The breakfast meal was lovely with cookies available in the afternoon and coffee/tea, as example.

Continental breakfast, neat and updated room with private bathroom, a variety of B & Bs in Newport plus super comfortable pillows. Very central location close to all sights. Nearby Pour Judgement - great place to chill out.

The Yankee Peddler Inn is a wonderful old property with delicious continental breakfasts and incredibly nice staff. the location is good, within walking distance of a historic church. There is an exceptional restaurant at the venue, along with an iron and storage space available in the superior room. the hotel is also close to the main street and a synagogue.

Location in the historical district of Newport was very attractive. Pleasant porch with seating for four people and garden to relax in. Car parking on site.
We had two rooms in the coach house which I would not recommend, they were very small. WI-fi only available in main house. No help with luggage . Hairdryer not supplied in room, available only on request. Only place we stayed where hot drinks were not available after 6pm. No residents lounge, only indoor seating area was the breakfast room in the basement. Fresh fruit was not provtded with breakfast.

Lovely building and all staff were very welcoming and helpful. Great breakfast every morning with many cold options. Rooms were very well decorated in the colonial style. Overall really enjoyed it there and would go again
Air conditioner would not cool the room. Very small bathroom

The room was well-appointed and romantic, and it had central heating, a flat-screen cable TV, and ironing facilities. The location was comfortable, and it was a 15-minute walk from the train station. It was a fun stay in a very nice area.

Sadly, not very much. The car park was useful.
Our room was on the 3rd floor which we did not know about. No lift. The room was supposed to be "delux" but it was less than basic. Wires came out of a plug on the wall just above a pilllow on the bed. The bed was made up with two sheets and a duvet ontop which had no cover on - so apart from not being hygenic it looked awful. Furniture was old and tatty. Carpet two-tone brown and needed replacing, as did the two flights stair carpet. Basic breakfast was in the basement - very low ceiling, very crammed with non-matching furniture and the room was very dark. We were extremely disappointed and did not feel we had anything like value for money.

Staff was excellent in helping us plan our visit in this historic gilded age seaside resort village. Location of Yankee Peddler is excellent - close but not too close to the lively dining and shopping on the wharfs; walking distance to restaurants and tours. Leave your car in the parking lot of the Yankee Peddler and walk.
The area, in general, is expensive. The continental breakfast was adequate but not exciting - I expected more for the price.

We loved our clean and stylish room with two queen beds and vintage décor, and appreciated the availability of a shower, hairdryer, and bath sheets.

It is the only B&B we.ve chosen to stay at while in Newport. We have been there 3 times. our daughter gave us a get away weekend away after hosting their wedding. We both love the conveinence of walking to Thames street and the bars, restaurants & shops. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is very good. Love the atmosphere downstairs. Someone put a lot of thought into the decor and arrangement of furniture. Coffee is always out early in the morning. Thanks
only one thing. I am a bath taker and noticed the hot water is NOT as hot as I would have liked it. seems about 100 degrees or less.

Very well kept old house. Love the charm, the location, the price, the people, the roof deck, the cocktail hour, have been twice.
Hate to complain but the beds themselves are not too comfortable, both visits a little rough on the sleeping because of the beds. First stay our room was loud due to guests coming and going (by and exit). Though because it is an old house, noise/hearing others is a hard thing to avoid, this I get. I will say that this time our room was very private and quite. Overall, despite the minor negatives, if someone asked me if they should stay there I would say yes! I have been twice. I would again.
